Despite Calling Himself an Alien, Elon Musk Says He's Never Seen Evidence of Aliens

Elon Musk has told a meeting of tech companies that he is an alien and 'keeps telling people' but 'nobody believes me' as he spoke at the VivaTech conference in Paris, France

Elon Musk told a meeting of global techies he is an alien.

The Tesla, X and SpaceX multi-billionaire said he keeps trying to tell folk he is an extra-terrestrial. But he said: “Nobody believes me.” He made the claim at VivaTech in Paris, France – a worldwide summit for technological start-ups. An event host asked him: “Some people believe that you are an alien?”

Musk, 52, laughed and replied: “I am an alien – yes, I keep telling people I'm an alien. But nobody believes me.”

Musk was officially born in Transvaal, South Africa, in 1971 and also boasts US and Canadian citizenship. Speaking remotely via webcam Musk, added if he could provide proof of alien life he would share it on X/Twitter – to social media site he now owns.

He went on to warn artificial intelligence posed a more immediate problem than ETs for humans – predicting bots would wipe out every job on Earth. “Probably none of us will have a job,” he stated. He said future employment would be optional and jobs could become hobbies, as AI and robots would provide all necessary goods and services.

But, he warned, they need to be carefully trained to prioritise honesty over political correctness to avoid the spread of misinformation.

“It's very important that AI be trained to be truthful and not trained to be politically correct,” he said. Earlier this month Musk said though extraterrestrials may have existed somewhere he was not convinced they have ever visited Earth. f humans sent out probes out into the universe they might find “remains of long-dead alien civilizations”.

But he suggested he did not have much time for people who thought aliens are living on Earth. “For some reason a lot of the same people who think there are aliens among us don't think we went to the Moon,” he said.

“Which, I'm like, 'think about that for a second'.”

He said none of the trips his SpaceX craft have made to low Earth orbit to launch 6,000 satellites had produced evidence of ETs or any craft operated by non-human intelligence.

“I've not seen any evidence of aliens,” Musk said.

“Not once have we had to manoeuvre around a UFO. Never. “So I'm like, 'okay, I don't see any evidence of aliens'.”
